Wedgwood Students Show the World They Care

Over the past several weeks, our students have used reading, poetry and plain hard work to show how much they care about others—strangers, victims of disaster.
On November 30, teachers Mary McDaniel and Kami Wahl, organized a Read-a-thon to benefit Belle Chasse Primary School in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, a community hard hit by Hurricane Katrina. [...]

Elliot Bay Fundraising

This Fall, Wedgwood raised over $14,000 through the sale of gift items and gift wrap from Elliot Bay Fundraising.  This represents a significant increase over last year’s sales and provides much needed funds to provide enrichment for our students. 
Also, the sale generated $2,000, which will be used to subsidize the Fifth Grade Spring camping trip.  [...]

Chess Club Update

On Saturday December 3, several Wedgwood Chess students played in the Bryant Fall Classic. Micah Breiger, Aaron Goff, Mitchell Goff, Jacob Mayer, Jeremy Meyer, Andrew Osborn, and Nathaniel Osborn.
