Each year the Wedgwood PTA honors individuals who have given exemplary volunteer service to our students and community. Wedgwood has been recognizing outstanding volunteers with the Golden Acorn Award since 1965. This is a great way to honor those individuals who have really made a difference in the 2005-06 school year.
The Golden Acorn Committee relies on YOUR nominations in selecting the annual award recipient(s). The committee will make its final selection from your nominees. The winner(s) of the 2005-06 award(s) will be announced at next year’s first General PTA Meeting in September.
Everyone appreciates seeing their hard work recognized. If there is someone you feel has made a difference in our school community this year, please take a few minutes to fill out the attached nomination form. Please return your form to the front office as soon as possible. Thank you.
