Phase II of the Playground Improvement Project is on hold while we seek a contractor who is able to do the work within our limited budget. This phase focuses on greening the playground and providing spaces for outdoor learning and community gathering. Elements of the plan include:
- New seating areas
- A discovery garden of native plants and trees
- Raised planting beds
- Safety and drainage improvements
- Art elements reflecting themes of sea life, celestial navigation, and sea stories.
