The construction portion of Phase II is complete! The construction fence will be coming down this week signifying partial-completion of the second phase of the Playground Improvement Project. We invite everyone to take a look at the three new seating areas and to picture how the area will look once several trees and numerous native plants are placed in the ground, the planters flanking the center seating area are built, and a fresh coat of paint applied to the numerous games and maps on the playground. Can’t wait for these changes to happen?
Want to be part of this exciting project? Then volunteer to help finish Phase II!! There are several volunteer projects planned, beginning with the building of the planters in early May, followed by the painting of the playground in mid-August, and concluding with a community-wide planting day in early October. Watch this newsletter and the school website for more information. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this project a reality!
