There will be a PTA General Membership meeting on May 9th at 6:00pm (right before the Spring Dance). At this meeting there will be a vote to elect the new board. Nominees are:
- Co-Presidents: Emily Maher and Rachael Weissman
- Recording Secretary: Catherine Stine
- Treasurer: Wendy Champagne
- VP Membership: John Cahill
- VP Volunteers: Julie Stevens
- VP Programs: Sylvia Lago
The fundraising efforts of Wedgwood Elementary students and families have raised approximately $7,500 to be allocated to school projects. Your PTA Board is currently accepting suggestions for possible projects, which could be assisted by these funds. Please forward your thoughts to either Gwen Malone gwenmalone AT hotmail DOT com or Nicole Potts nicolepotts AT mac DOT com at your earliest convenience but no later than May 5th. On May 9th we will all take a vote on the nominated projects.
Come to the dance early to support those who have stepped into leadership positions and make you voice heard on where our money should be spent this year.
